A thousand years ago, a beast wreaked havoc upon the land;
demanded blood tributes from all lives.
Now, again it obliterates the earth.
Leaving trails of sorrows and tears on its wake;
tears for robbed memories, for lost loved-ones, for torn roots.
Will a thousand years from now, we be able to cast the beast back
to the abyss from which it came?, only Time can tell.
will we be able to rise above the ashes of death and shout,
We endure … we survive, that is a certainty.
We are the endurers of the unendurable;
the children of the rising sun who always rise even after the bleakest night.
